We had an unbelievable outpouring of support from retailers for our event. First I would like to thanks Madness Games and Comics for going all out and donating booth space and setting up and tearing down. The whole Madness crew helped from beginning to end and all points in between. Here are some of the items Chris Mettler and Chris Hoberg (owners Madness Games) were responsible for, Two pieces of original framed and signed Stan Lee artwork from Spiderman, Master Replica Light Saber, Superman and Batman action figure, book and poster bundles, Umbrella Academy signed Litho and Munnies. We also used Chris’s truck to haul all our stuff around. Thank you Madness Games and comics for all your hard work and generosity!
Drew Seldin at Wizard Entertainment hooked us up with a boat load of Wizard Exclusive Toys and helped us advertise the live art show. Top Cow gave us a serious amount of variant comics and trades that we bundled and really got some great bids on. We can’t tell you guys how Top Cow’s support meant to us. Boom Studios have given a ton of comics, and I mean that literally! They have given almost a ton of comics.
Good guy Mark Hay over at SplashPage Comic Art threw in an original page of “Captain America: The Chosen” by Mitch Breitweiser. Lone Star comics and Chris Powell gave us a box full of great toys and action figures that made for great auction bundles. Museum Replicas donated a beautiful Magneto Helmet that Scott Hinze was seen wearing most of the day. The helmet helped us raise a lot of money for our cause! The Nobel Collection donated two awesome pieces of jewelry every Fanboy wants, The One Ring from LOTR and a Superman emblem ring that is awesome! The Dallas Cowboys sent us a signed pennant with hard to get signatures of head coach Wade Wilson and owner Jerry Jones. We received numerous other donations from retailers and we can’t tell you how much we appreciate you all.
